Xtra Time Web Desk: Hardik Pandya and Chris Morris were involved in an animated conversation during the IPL 2020 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Wednesday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. Both the cricketers were later reprimanded for breaching Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct. They have admitted to the Level 1 offence 2.20 and 2.5 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct respectively.

"Chris Morris, the Royal Challengers Bangalore all-rounder, has been reprimanded for breaching the Indian Premier League's (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team's match against Mumbai Indians at Abu Dhabi," IPL said in an official release.

"Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians all-rounder, has been reprimanded for breaching the IPL's Code of Conduct during his team's match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Abu Dhabi." it added.

When Morris came on to bowl the 19th over of MI's innings, Hardik hit him for a six off the fourth delivery. The Mumbai Indians all rounder immediately followed it up with a gesture towards the bowler, suggesting him to go and collect the ball.

The Proteas fast bowler responded immediately by sending him back the next delivery, having him caught at the extra cover region by Mohammed Siraj. Pandya had a smile on his face when Morris came to give a reply to his gesture. Morris pointed out his finger towards MI's dressing room after taking his wicket. Hardik too showed his finger at something being told at him, with RCB captain Virat Kohli watching it.
