XtraTime Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will be sending a team of top officials to do a recee of all the three venues where matches will be played in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League in UAE. The team will be led by IPL Governing Council Chairman Brijesh Patel and will also include interim CEO Hemang Amin. It is learnt broadcasters Star Sports may also send it’s team to do a thorough facts check across all the three venues – Dubai International Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Stadium.


It is also learnt that the board will set up an office in Dubai for the next three months until the end of the IPL 2020. The cash rich league is due to start in UAE from September 19 and will go on till November 10. The BCCI officials will have a meeting with the Emirates Cricket Board on the operational plans. They will also meet the officials of various key ministries of UAE Government for the smooth running of the tournament. It is not sure yet whether the officials will meet the Indian embassy officers in UAE.
