Kolkata:  After losing in the second playoff against SunRisers Hyderabad by 14 runs last night at the Eden Gardens Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Dinesh Karthik termed their season as a good campaign and feels that they played as a team throughout the season.

“It was a good campaign, a lot of good memories were made and we played as a team,” said Karthik at the post match press conference.

According to Karthik the plus point for KKR this season was their young brigade.” Shubman has been outstanding throughout the season. Mavi is a real quality player. Credit goes to Nitish Rana and Prasidh Krishna as well.”

Karthik credited Afghanistan sensation Rashid Khan for his all-round performance against KKR.” Rashid was brilliant against us. It was a day that went in his way. Credit to him, he did really well today,” added Karthik.
