XtraTime Web Desk: Indian cricket team’s star wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha will play for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. Former Indian batsman and current mentor of Sunrisers Hyderabad was the reason that the franchise picked Saha from the auction. While talking to the media in Kolkata, Laxman today revealed the reason why they choose Wriddhiman for their team.

“We have Rasid Khan in the squad. He can bowl flipper and googly in his armory. Wridhiman Saha is now the best Wicket Kepper in India. He already did well in the sub continent. He keeps well when Jadeja and Ashwin bowl in tests.”

“Not only he can keep well but also he can bat well in the shortest format of the game. He can play in any position and he is a terrific run getter.” He added.

Wriddhiman Saha played 104 IPL matches and scored 1557 runs with a century and 6 half centuries. He got the average of 25.52 and got a very handy strike rate of 130.73. Sun Risers bought him by spending 5 Crore for this edition of IPL.

Laxman is confident that India will do well in their upcoming tour of England as he said, “I think India will perform well in the England as Virat Kohli’s team came back strongly after losing the test series 2-1. Earlier, in 2014 India won the first test but lost the series 4-1.”
