Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders registered a big win against Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in their home soil. KKR won the toss and send the visitors to bat first.
In-form batsman Jos Buttler and Rahul Tripathi opened for the away side. They batted well as they managed to score 63 runs before Tripathi departed by scoring 27 runs. While Buttler went out by scoring 39 runs. Rahane failed again but thanks to Jaydev Unadkat’s effort as he scored 26 runs to help his team to reach to a respectable total.
Kuldeep Jadav picked four wickets in his overs by giving just 20 runs. Andre Russell and Prasidh Krishna was another two star performers as they got two wickets each.
Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn built a solid foundation for KKR. Narine scored 21 Lynn looked to finish the innings, unfortunately, he went out by scoring 45 runs. Skipper Dinesh Karthik was also very impressive as he helped his side to get over the total by scoring 41 runs.
Ben Stokes was very impressive with ball as he picked 3 wickets.
