IPL 2018: KKR Captain Dinesh Karthik states his views on RCB skipper Virat Kohli

Kolkata: A few days back Simon Katich funnily said that, “We will dismiss Virat at the slips.” Knight Riders head coach Jacques Kallis added more spice to the comment saying, “We don’t have any specific plan about Virat as they are a very strong batting side and they have many other match winners in the team.”

Though, Knight skipper Dinesh Karthik is not at all relaxed as RCB has Virat Kohli in their squad. Rain can interrupt the game as Knight’s practice session washed out for the heavy downpour and that is a concern for DK. He was questioned about Virat. DK answered with a smiling face and said,” Our planning is to get the wicket of Kohli as early as we can because he is a real match winner.”

Karthik know it will be difficult for him specially after what Gautam Gambhir achieved as a skipper for KKR but, definitely the Knights will be on the back-foot before the Sunday’s match as they are yet to decide their squad. Will KKR manage to perform well in tomorrow’s game only the time can tell. Here goes the full press-conference:
