XtraTime Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals thumbed Mumbai Indians by 7 wickets to get them almost out of the race from the Play offs of this edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Batting first the home side scored 168 runs as RR opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Carrabian batsman Evin Lewis’s great knock of 60 went in vain but his innings helped the home side to post a competitive total on the board.

English bowler Ben Stokes and bowling all-rounder Jofra Archer picked two wickets each to restrict the total of MI.

Wicket Keeper batsman Jos Buttler was the star performer for the night as he scored 94 not out in 53 balls. Supper Ajinkya Rahane also played an important knock of 37 runs to give an important support to Buttler.

Mumbai needed to pick wickets early but they failed to do so. Only experienced Indian International Hardik Pandya managed to pick a couple of wickets.
