Internet Desk: India skipper Virat Kohli has announced his date of return in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 10 in an instagram post on Tuesday in which he also attached a video.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain will be a part of the side which will face Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Friday, April 14. The announcement was made by Kohli himself and he also wrote,”Can’t wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now. 14th April,”
The date – April 14 is the match day and Kohli has given a hint that he is close to his match fitness. However, earlier he had said that he will not return to action unless he is “120 per cent fit”.
“I don’t want to take any chances with Champions Trophy (in June) coming up. I want to be 120% fit,” Kohli had said in Hyderabad on April 5, the opening day of IPL 2017.
Virat has been out of the field for almost three weeks after he sustained a shoulder injury during the third Test against Australia in Ranchi in March.
