Internet Desk: There will be a strong focus on buying uncapped Indian players with eight franchises gearing up to pick a maximum of 76 out of the 350 plus, who will go under the hammer at the auction for the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), in Bengaluru on Monday.

xtratime.in takes a look at the top 5 uncapped Indian players who could start a bidding war for their signatures between the IPL teams:

Ishank Jaggi( Base Price 10 Lakhs)

Just two days before the IPL player auction Jaggi was drafted to the uncapped players list, as he played a knock of 56 runs from just 30 balls, which helped East Zone to clinch the Inter-Zonal T-20 title. East Zone won all four matches in the tournament, with Jaggi hitting three half-centuries, including a brutal 51-ball 90 against South Zone. Jaggi is the leading run-getter in the history of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, with 1246 runs at an average of 34.61 and a strike of 120.03.

Virat Singh (Base Price 10 Lakhs)

Virat Singh also played some great knocks for East Zone in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T-20 trophy. His knocks against North Zone and West Zone were classic examples of his ability. Any franchise would like to have a player like him in their side.

Prithvi Shaw (Base Price 10 Lakhs)

Teenager Prithvi Shaw scored a ton in his first match for Mumbai, which is a huge achievement for any batsman. 17-year-old Shaw has shown enormous promise at the junior level, having slammed a then record 546 in a Harris Shield game three years ago which was overtaken by Pranav Dhanawade (1009*) in January this year.

Vishnu Vinod (Base Price 10 Lakhs)

A punchy opening batsman who can also keep wicket, Vinod shellacked 14 sixes – the most by any player – in the Inter-State Twenty20 2016-17. His hitting included four consecutive sixes off Goa left-arm spinner Sher Yadav in the arc between deep midwicket and long-on. The pick of the lot was the second, when he advanced down the pitch and hit the roof of the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Tanmay Agarwal (Base Price 10 Lakhs)

Tanmay is a product of Hyderabad age-group cricket. He was the highest run-scorer in the Inter-State T-20s, with 250 runs in five innings at a strike rate of 162.33. Four batsmen topped 200 runs in the tournament, with only Agarwal having a strike rate in excess of 150.
