XtraTime Web Desk: After a fascinating test debut in Rajkot which helped India to win the test series against West Indies, the nation’s teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw met his "idol" Sachin Tendulkar. After watching his batting in last couple of years span many have already started comparing him with the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. After meeting with Sachin, Shaw posted an image on his twitter with a caption "SIR❤ #idol #respect".

Shaw played a blistering knock of 134 runs on his debut test at Rajkot to become the youngest Indian batsman to score a ton in debut test. Beside that he became the second youngest player after Sachin to score a century in test. The Master blaster hit his maiden test ton (119*) at the age of 17 years and 107 days against England in Manchester back in 1990. After watching his batting in the first test, Indian cricket team head coach Ravi Shastri as he mentioned that he sees a bit of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Brian Lara in Prithvi. "He (Shaw) is born to play cricket. He's been playing since the age of eight in the maidans of Mumbai. You can see all that hardwork showing. He's a spectator's delight. There's a bit of Sachin there, a bit of Viru in him and when he walks - there's a bit of Lara as well," Shastri said. "If he can keep his head on his shoulders and keep the work ethic, he has a bright future." Shaw made a dream start to his international career, winning the man-of-the-series trophy in his debut Test series against West Indies at home. After receiving the man-of-the-series, the 18-year-old Mumbai batsman doesn't want to limit himself and "strives to be the best" of the business.
