In this warm up match Indian bowlers packed up the innings of WIBP XI in 180 runs. 5-wicket taker of the previous match Amit Mishra took 2 wickets giving away 45 runs in 10 overs. But the most successful bowler for India was Ravindra Jadeja. He was so economical to give away 16 runs in 13 overs and picking up 3 wickets.

Ravichandran Ashwin also grabbed three wickets. However, his economic rate was high of 3.12. Apart from all three spinners medium pacer Stuart Binny also performed well having one wicket giving only 8 runs in 5 overs.

Due to the great performance of the bowlers the batsmen of WIBP XI could not stand for the whole day of the first day of the three-day warm up match as they were bundled up for 180. India started their innings later on the first day.

In this innings India experimented on their opening partnership. Murali Vijay came to open with Shikhar Dhawan. Scoring a half century in the first match Dhawan could not excel in this match. He scored only 9. While another opener Vijay scored 23. Opener of the previous match KL Rahul continued his good from in this match too. He scored an unbeaten 30. He will start today.

Pujara could not stand for a long time like the previous match. In this match he could only secure 28 runs. Today there will the test of captain Virat Kohli who could not bat well in the previous match. India will expect a big game from Rohit Sharma who was unbeaten 5 in the previous match. This match is the test for Ajinkya Rahane and Wriddhiman Saha who also failed to score big ton in the previous match.
