Image Source: XtraTime[/caption] Hyderabad: Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators has forced the media manager of the Indian cricket team to resign after he was found sharing confidential information of the team to former BCCI chief Anurag Thakur. Nishant Arora was asked to shift base to the BCCI head office in Mumbai, following which he tendered his resignation for the aforesaid post. It was learnt that Arora tendered his resignation last evening. Nishant is not here in Hyderabad for the test match between India and Bangladesh which starts from Thursday. Gaurav Saxena is likely to do the duty of media manager. In another development the COA has also instructed the closure of the board office in Delhi. Interestingly all the staffs in Delhi office were recruited by the former BCCI president Anurag Thakur. It is imperative that the closure of the Delhi office mean all staffs will have to go. COA member Diana Edulji said that they have not named anyone but had only instructed for the closure of the office. "We had just said that President's Office in Delhi should be shut down and all those recruited in Delhi office will need to go. We never named Nishant but if he is a Delhi Office recruit then he has to go. But if his media manager's contract is independent of it, then Rahul (BCCI CEO Rahul Johri) takes a final call. Nishant's replacement will also be decided by Rahul," Edulji. Arora has been with the Indian team as media manage for 18 last months and had been on tours to Australia, West Indies, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and US apart from all the domestic series.
