Xtra Time Web Desk : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced that spectators will be allowed at Eden Gardens for the third and final T20I of Team India's 3 match series against West Indies.

The decision from BCCI President Sourav Ganguly came in reply to a request which Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) earlier made, in order to allow spectators for the last two T20Is at Eden Gardens.

“As discussed with other OB, as per your request, you can open up for the last T20 match against West Indies at Eden,” said the Prince of Calcutta in an email to CAB chief Avishek Dalmiya.

The CAB chief too replied to Ganguly's mail and stated, "We are extremely thankful to BCCI for their kind consideration. This consent of the Board would help CAB meet its obligations to Life, Associate, Annual and Honorary Members for the 20th February match.”

The above decision by the board would surely prove to be an exciting prospect for the cricket fans in Kolkata, especially after the first two T20Is being played behind closed doors.
