XtraTime Web Desk - Due to the fresh Covid-19 outbreak in South Australia, all the players and staffs are expected to be airlifted to New South Wales as Cricket Australia is desperate to save the long awaited India's tour to Australia.

Western Australia, Queensland and Tasmania closed their borders on Monday to prevent the Covid 19 outbreak. Thus, Cricket Australia also planning to bring all the test players as well as their A squad to Sydney so that the upcoming series is not hampered.

Cricket Australia in an official statement said that, “Our bio-security and operational teams are closely monitoring the situation and working to put in place the necessary plans to ensure players, coaches and staff are available for upcoming fixtures”.

The statement also said, “CA has always maintained that it would need to be agile as border conditions change and we thank the players, coaches and staff involved for their flexibility and all parties for their support. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves and look forward to hosting a safe and successful summer across all formats”.

The Australian red ball captain, Tim Paine and few others are already in isolation after a fresh Coronavirus outbreak happened in Adelaide.

The first test match will be starting on 17th of December but nothing has been going smoothly as this fresh outbreak is changing all the plans Cricket Australia had made.
