Image Source: twitter[/caption] Kolkata: After a series of drama and uncertainty Kingfisher East Bengal has at last finalized their fourth foreigner, who happens to be the player of Asian quota for the Red & Gold brigade. Kyrgyzstan International Ildar Amirov has been chosen for the final foreigner slot for Trevor Morgan’s side for the 2017 Hero I-League. Amirov last played for Turanspor in Turkish League as a forward, but his track record as a striker both for his club and his National team hasn’t been impressive. The 29 years old forward is known for his strong and physical play and good in the air, as he is 6ft 2 inches tall. The Kyrgyzstani footballer of Tatar descent has been playing for the National team for more than a decade now, but only manage to score 2 goals in as many as 33 appearances. Amirov scored his first International goal in 2010 AFC Challenge Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka against India. Trevor Morgan was wondering for an Asian foreigner, who is a striker. It is to see whether Amirov can lead the Red & Gold Brigade towards their much awaited I-League title or not. East Bengal previously was in talks with foreigners like Akram Moghrabi and Alex Akande, but their respective clubs refused them to release. The Red & Gold fans will be eagerly waiting to see Ildar Amirov in a goal scoring form, when he will arrive at the city of joy next week.
