Kolkata: East Bengal defender, Arnab Mondal on Thursday, replied to the show cause notice provided by AIFF regarding racist comments on Cornell Glen. East Bengal club officials discussed with Arnab Mondal and club’s lawyer before mailing the show cause letter to AIFF.

Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan’s Cornell Glen blamed Arnab Mondal for making racist comments on him during the recently concluded derby. On this issue, Mohun Bagan club lodged a complain against the Red and Gold defender to AIFF. AIFF was quick to send a show cause letter to Arnab Mondal and Red and Gold defender replied to that letter today.
In the mean time, Arnab Mondal has no harm in participating in the next match against Bengaluru FC tie on Sunday until and unless AIFF gives the verdict on Arnab.
