I League 2018/19: Confident Mohun Bagan looking to clinch three points against Real Kashmir

Xtratime Web Desk: Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan will face Real Kashmir FC in their fourth match of Hero I League 2018-19 at TRC ground.

Real Kashmir FC has so far proved that they are not here just to fill in the numbers but to show football fan across Pan India about their existence and how football is passionately followed in Heaven of Valleys Kashmir. Thus far Real Kashmir has accumulated four points from three matches they beat Minerva in their home soil to get the maximum. The opener against Churchill Brothers ended in a draw. But the Kashmir showed character and determination to achieve their target.

Mohun Bagan on the other hand went to Kashmir with a much needed win against the Indian Arrows and Sankarlal will be confident to grab full points from this outing. But it is easier said than done, away fixtures are always tough and playing in a temperature of less than 3 degrees will add more to it. Mohun Bagan travelled to the hills three days prior to their scheduled match to get acclimatise with the conditions.  The green-maroon will be eyeing to get three points to move up the table.

Mohun Bagan Head Coach Shankarlal Chakraborty praised the Real Kashmir team he stated “they are a very strong side and are tough team to play in their home soil. They are strong in all departments.”

He further added that “our team will have to counter the weather condition as we have not played in such extreme cold temperature previously, beside the ground is artificial turf which will further have an impact, we came early to adapt to the condition and are hopeful of securing full points. This is not a complain as other teams too have played here.”
