I-League 2017/18: The Derby dates announced, find out the latest updates of East Bengal

Kolkata: Last year Aizawl FC won their maiden I-League title under Coach Khalid Jamil. This year Khalid has come to East Bengal to coach the side. The Red & Gold Brigade has already won the Calcutta Football League under his guidance for a record eighth time. Now they are eyeing to win the I-League after 14 long years under Khalid Jamil. East Bengal will play their first match of the I-League 2017/18 against Aizawl too. Though Khalid don’t want to tell anything regarding the fixture.

The East Bengal gaffer is mostly focusing on the situation practice ahead of their first game. The team still has some injury problems. Bazie Armand is yet to recover from his injury. He didn’t practice with the team too. On the other hand there newly signed Brazilian defender Eduardo looked to be getting fit by each day. Katsumi too trained hard with other players.
