Kolkata: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has finally announced the revised date of the return-leg of Kolkata derby for the I-League 2017-18 today. Now East Bengal will face their arch-rival Mohun Bagan on January 21 in place of January 13 in their home game at the Salt Lake Stadium. Earlier it was decided that the two Kolkata giants would clash on January 13 but the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate told the East Bengal officials that they won’t provide any security at the Salt lake Stadium on the very day due to ‘Gangasagar Fair’ as most of the police personals would be there for security reasons. After knowing that the parent body of Indian football has finally decided that the game will be played on January 21.

Earlier the match was scheduled to be played from 5pm but after the revised schedule it will start from 2pm. Mohun Bagan is currently holding the second spot in the I-League on the other hand East Bengal is at fourth after playing three games.
