XtraTime Web Desk: Almost two weeks have gone past after Mohammed Shami and Hasin Jahan’s marital problem came in front of everyone. Hasin accused Shami about extra-marital affairs, match fixing and domestic violence as well. On the other hand the Indian speedster denied all the allegations against him and urged BCCI for a through inquiry. After this incident the his contract also has been put on hold by the parent body of Indian cricket.

The whole incident started during the first week of March when Hasin Jahan posted several screenshots of Messenger and Whatsapp messages on her Facebook wall to expose his husband’s extra-marital affairs. Not only that, she also claimed that Shami’s mother and brother tortured her and even tried to kill her.

While taking with India Today, Hasin again took a dig at Shami by questioning his “morals” and called him a “liar”. She also said that Shami is nothing but a liar and trying to hide himself behind his lies.

“Shami is a liar. He is lying to save himself. Our last conversation was during a WhatsApp call. It was planning call by him. He asked me how we can save the family. I told him to apologies and admit all your mistakes and comeback,” she added.

Last week she made another claim that Shami is also involved in match-fixing. Jahan alleged that his husband took money from a Pakistani lady named Alishba which came from an England-based businessman Mohammed Bhai. Though during the interview Hasin made a u-turn and said that she never said these things because she doesn’t even understand the game.

“I have never made any match-fixing claims. I do not even understand the game then how can I talk about it. It is Shami who is bringing the match-fixing angle,” she said.

After her previous claim have already affected Shami’s career as BCCI has put Shami’s central contract on hold while the CoA have requested BCCI’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) to investigate on this matter.

On being asked as to why she took this much time in taking legal action against her husband, Jahan said, “I did not have any support in the last two years. I gave up my career, Shami was my only hope. I tried to save our marriage. He tortured me throughout and was involved several extra-marital affairs.”
