Grave concerns for East Bengal ahead of their I-League campaign

Internet Desk: City giant East Bengal suffered a huge blow ahead of their I-League campaign as they lost to the Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC 1-3 in their second warm-up game.

Both the sides started with their full strength today, but the Red and Gold Brigade conceded three back to back goals in just first 18 minutes of the game. Udyanta Singh scored a brace for the Blues and the third goal was scored by Miku. On the other hand, Willis Plaza who came as a substitute scored the only goal for the visitors on the 42nd minute of the game.

East Bengal coach Khalid Jamil used his all six foreigners today against a very tough side like Bengaluru FC. Eduardo Ferrira, Katsumi Yusa, Mahmoud Al Amna, Bazie and Charles d’ Souza all were the part of first XI. Their star Trinidad & Tobago forward Willis Plaza came in as a substitute in the first-half. Later Cavin Lobo came in place of Charles.
