Kolkata: West Bengal Table Tennis Association (WBTTA) felicitated the medal winners of last three National Champions of 2016, at the Nehru Children’s Museum on Friday. Apart from that they had also felicitated the senior team, who had won the prestigious Jayalakshmi Cup after 20 years.
An amount of Rs. 7.5 Lac has been given as ‘Financial Support’ to the players as usual. Last year the amount was near about 5 Lac.
Former footballer and Padma Shri winner Shri Chuni Goswami was present as the Chief Guest in the auspicious occasion. Shri Somnath Chatterjee, President, West Bengal Table Tennis Association was also be present in the occasion.
