Kolkata: Gold medal winning performances by Indian men and women in the second division of recent World TT championship in Kuala Lumpur has helped the paddlers take significant strides in the latest ITTF ranking.
K.Shamini jumped 45 places to be placed at 183 , Manika Batra moved up 26 (134) , Mouma Das climbed 15 places (151).
Harmeet Desai gained 14 places (116) , Sharath Kamal 12 places (59) , G Sathiyan 6 places (83) , Soumyajit Ghosh 7 places (153).
