Image Source: Xtra Time[/caption] Internet Desk: Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo have questioned the selection of the West Indies ODI squad for the tri-series involving Australia and South Africa in June. Both Gayle and Bravo along with Darren Sammy and Andre Russell were left out of the fifteen member squad due to their non participation in the domestic Nagico Super50 in January. All of them were playing the Big Bash League in Australia. Dwayne Bravo was quick to express his disappointment on after his name was missing from the West Indies squad for the tri-series. Bravo tweet   Chris Gayle was surprised to see the names of Pollard and Narine included in the squad. Both Pollard and Narine did not participate in the Nagico Super50 tournament. Pollard was injured during the Ram Slam T20 in South Africa in November last year while Narine was not allowed to play because his bowling action had been declared illegal. He was cleared to bowl by the ICC only in April. Gayle tweet   Sammy, while congratulating Pollard, asked Pollard how he had managed a comeback. Andre Russell also did not find a place in the squad. The Jamaican too did not play the domestic 50 over tournament and was busy playing in Big Bash. But it is not clear whether the injury that he sustained playing in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders has played a part or not. None of these players - Gayle, Bravo, Sammy and Russell - were contracted by the WICB earlier this year, but all four were part of West Indies' title-winning squad at the World T20 in India.
