Kolkata: Former Indian defender Pralay Saha dies of car accident on his way to Puri from Digha with his family. The accident occurred near a small town in Cuttack named Jajpor. They were travelling in 3 scorpio cars. Six of them died on spot after the car crashed.
Pralay represented India in the Nehru Gold Cup several times besides V.P.Satyen under coach Jiri Pesek. He also represented East Bengal club in the 1993-94 season. His former club East Bengal also expressed their condolence on his death. Pralay’s daughter is in critical condition.
Pralay resided in Sahapara, Baguihati and is survived by his wife. The local lads of Baguihati are on their way to Jajpor to bring his dead body.
