Kolkata: Mohammedan Sporting Club demolished Southern Samity 6-0 in their seventh round Kolkata Zone encounter of the ongoing 2016/17 U-16 Youth League played at the Mohammedan Sporting Ground on Sunday.
Mohammedan SC, who were 1-0 up at half time, scored through Sovan Sen (12th & 86th), Surajuddin Munshi (54th, 64th & 89th) and Mohammad Giasuddin (73rd) to record their biggest ever U-16 Youth League win.
Following this win, Mohammedan SC climb to third on the table with 12 points from 7 games behind Mohun Bagan (17 pts) and United SC (16 pts). While Southern Samity remained on fifth with 3 points from as many matches.
