ISL: Atletico De Kolkata in talks with former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboué

Internet Desk: Atletico De Kolkata are in talks with former Arsenal and Galatasaray right back Emmanuel Eboué. Eboe represents Ivory Coast and can play as right winger as well. The Ivorian is currently contracted with Sunderland in the Premier and if everything goes well he may don the Red and White colours for ATK in the third edition of the ISL.

Eboue has piled his trade with Arsenal from 2005-2011 appearing in 132 matches where he netted 5 goals too and for Galatasaray, he has played 77 matches while for the National team he has been found on the pitch for 79 matches.

Meanwhile, Northeast United FC have confirmed the signing of of one more foreigner this season by bringing in goalkeeper Wellington de Lima Gomes. Lima who was born in Brazil, since 2012 has been a part of Portuguese top division team CS Maritimo where he got limited opportunities.

Serving mostly as a backup option in the first team, Lima does not have much league appearances but seems to be favoured by the new coaching staff deployed by Portuguese manager Nelo Vingada.

According to sources, Mumbai City FC are on the verge of finalising a deal with Argentine centre Back Facundo Cardozo.Cardozo is a youth exponent from Vélez Sarsfield. He made his league debut during the 2013–14 season .

At 3 November 2013, he scored his first league goal against Quilmes. He has won Supercopa Argentina with the club Vélez Sarsfield in 2013 and also played a vital role for Argentina’s U – 20 team when they won South American Youth Football Championship in the year 2015.

On the other hand, Kerala Blasters are going all out to field a formidable side ahead of the third season in Indian Super League. The franchisee, co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar, announced the re-signing of star defender Cedric Hengbart ahead of ISL 2016, on Tuesday.

The French defender plied his trade in the Indian Super League in both the previous seasons and will be playing once again in the third season. The 36-year-old was a part of Kerala Blasters in the inaugural season of the Indian football competition where he played an integral role in guiding the Kochi-based side to the ISL final.
