Kolkata: Salgaocar U-19 smelled defeat in the hands of East Bengal U-19 2-0 at Barasat in the first match today’s fixtures in the 120th LG IFA Shield. Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan U-19 were defeated by the same margin by DSK-liverpool Academy at Mohun Bagan ground under their newly inaugurated flood light and this defeat ruled them out of the IFA Shield asthey failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
