Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata: Mohun Bagan's Finance Secretary Debashish Dutta significantly criticized their arch rival East Bengal and parent body IFA, as he claimed IFA to be the "yes man" of East Bengal. In a dramatic press conference, Debashish said,"What Srinjoy Bose said to IFA regarding East Bengal, seems to be a very minimum to me. I want to say they should have changed their name into East Bengal Football Association instead of Indian Football Association." In reply to that, East Bengal Secretary Kalyan Majumder replied,"This is the way they are trying to save themselves. To me, this is the way to hide their continuous failure in the Calcutta Football League." Mohun Bagan's Finance Secretary Debashish Dutta also said,"I should propose The IFA to declare East Bengal as the Champions of the Calcutta Football League even before the start of the tournament. The other teams should start playing for getting the runners up trophy only." East Bengal Secretary replies in his usual style as he said,"Ask Debashish Dutta where was he when IFA used to select for all the nominations from Mohun Bagan from the phase back in 1948. Where was he when the captains of the Bengal team had always been from Mohun Bagan in that phase?"

Debashish Dutta also impeached,"We are unfortunate because we have been amazingly successful in the national level of late, but every time when it comes in terms of the CFL or IFA Shield, we have to bite the dust. The problem is that we don't give felicitations to the referees unlike them, so, we don't expect anything special from them."
Kalyan Majumder was on fire hearing that allegation as he said,"Tell Debashish Dutta that the vanquishing defeat they faced against us in the last CFL derby was due to Dong and the other players, not because of IFA and the referees. Ask him if the goals through which we defeated them in the I-League derby, were scored by our players or IFA/CRA referees! He has to answer, but I know he can't."
The verbal battle between the two arch rivals has suddenly brought the old rivalry back between the two clubs. It is to see how Mohun Bagan reacts to the points East Bengal Secretary made against the allegations brought against them. But One thing for sure, this is just the start, more drama is on the waiting.
