Speaking to the media on Saturday ahead of Knight Rider’s first match against Delhi Daredevils on Sunday, Gambhir sympathized with the victims of the flyover tragedy in the city, saying he would love to contribute in some way for them. "This is very unfortunate, should not have happened. We would love to do something. But obviously you can't get the loss back. Whatever we can do in our capacity to help we would love to. In today's day and age a flyover collapsing is very unfortunate. Our moral responsibility is to help the victims," Gambhir told the media .
