Find out how Virat Kohli made a horrible mistake to wish Mithali Raj

Kohlii

Internet Desk: India skipper Mithali Raj wrote her name in the record books again on Wednesday after she became the all-time top run-scorer in the history of women’s ODI cricket.

Many cricketers along with the Bollywood superstars congratulated the golden girl of Indian cricket after she surpassed Charlotte Edwards (5992) by scoring her 34th run against Australia in Bristol last night. She reached to the feat on her 183rd ODI, by taking 164 innings, which is 16 lesser than Charlotte. Her fellow countryman and captain of Indian men’s cricket team also congratulated her on the social media but he ended up committing a big mistake.

While posting a congratulatory message for Mithali on Facebook, the skipper of Indian men’s team posted the picture of another Indian woman cricketer Punam Raut instead of the captain.

Kohli wrote, “A great moment for Indian cricket, Mithali Raj becomes the highest run scorer in Women’s ODI cricket History today. Champion Stuff!”

Later Kohli deleted the picture after understanding his fault.
