Suman Chakravorty & Sabyasachi Bagchi, New Delhi: The AIFF President Mr. Praful Patel met the Indian U17 Team during the training session at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at New Delhi today.
The Team presented Mr. Patel with a National Team jersey with his name inscribed on the back.
Mr Patel told, “I have asked the team to play with freedom, pride and more importantly for the sake of the nation.”
The AIFF President also heaped praise for the preparation, as he said, “This team had great preparations with good facilities, I am sure thy will make us proud. I told them that they shouldn’t worry about the results. It’s time to make this moment memorable.”
He added, “The Honourable Prime Minister will be present tomorrow as well and I told the boys that the 50,000 spectators on the stands too cheering for you. So, just go and give your best. We are already proud of you.”
