No doubt the eyes would certainly be on the Indian U17 team as It would be the first time India would be playing a World Cup in this category. But do you know the five future superstars who have every possibility to become the assets of world football in future? Here goes the five talents who are all set to rule the football world.

Vinicius Junior (Brazil, Real Madrid): India to witness the new superstar of world football in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup as just after 11 days of making his professional debut, Brazilian sensation Vinicius Junior has incredibly become one of the most ‘costly’ teenagers in the globe after Spanish giant Real Madrid announces to pay £38m for him in a lucrative contract. The new La Liga champions will officially unveil the 16-year-old from Brazilian club Flamengo from July 2018 when he will be 18. He is set to stay with Flamengo until 2019, although could move to Madrid earlier if both clubs agree.

Vinicius has played only 17 minutes of senior football, having made his Flamengo debut on 13 May. In March, he finished as top scorer and was voted best player as Brazil won the Under-17 South American Championship.

After coming on for the final eight minutes of a 1-1 draw with Atletico Mineiro, Vinicius signed a contract extension with Flamengo that increased his buyout clause from 30 million euros (£25.8m) to the 45 million euros (£38.7m) met by Madrid.

The fee surpasses the initial £36m paid by Manchester United to Monaco for striker Anthony Martial, who was 19 when he became the world’s most expensive teenager in a September 2015 deal that could be worth up to £58m.

Angel Gomes (England, Manchester United): The FIFA U17 World Cup might be the stage to showcase the the arrival of Manchester United’s new wonder-kid Angel Gomes, who clinched the prestigious United Youth Team Player of the Year award this season and has immediately been thrust into the first team. The new sensation has all the possibilities to make the world cup very much his own for England.

The teenager, who is just 16 years of age has followed the traditions of United legends Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and of course United’s present attacking spearhead Marcus Rashford, in winning the award named after United legend Sir Matt Busby’s assistant manager Jimmy Murphy.

When he made it onto the field against Crystal Palace in the last game of the Premier League, Angel Gomes fell just 78 days short of Duncan Edwards’ mark of 16 years and 185 days at the time of making his league debut for Manchester United. The wonder-kid comes from a family with quite the footballing background with his father, Gil, being a former Portuguese under-20 World Cup winner and his brother, Rico, in United’s academy up until he was 16. He is also the cousin of former Manchester United star, Nani.

Jann-Fiete Arp (Germany, Chelsea)

The 17-year-old Hamburg striker is Germany’s captain at the World Cup and is seen as a “super talent” in his homeland. He was the top scorer for his youth side and scored seven goals in U-17 Euros, also scoring the fastest ever hat-trick in the tournament.

Arp has emerged as a target for the Blues, according to recent reports, who have been impressed by the youngster’s poaching skills. German fans have compared Arp to Miroslav Klose but the striker once revealed that he models his game on Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane. Chelsea might sign the striker soon after monitoring him at the World Cup.

Lincoln

Lincoln (Brazil, Manchester United)

The Gremio midfielder has been a long term target for the Red Devils and according to various tabloids, the Premier League giants might finally make a move for Lincoln after the World Cup. The combative midfielder made his senior debut for Gremio two years ago and is seen as a dependable player in the squad.

Globo Esporte had once claimed the Gremio club president had promised a deal to Manchester United for Lincoln. Jose Mourinho is keen on working with one of the brightest Brazilian prospects and might sign him in the January transfer window.

Takefusa Kubo (Real Madrid) 

The teenage sensation is hailed as being the Japanese Messi with many comparing his playing style to the best player in the world. He left FC Barcelona in 2015 after FIFA charged the Spanish club with violating youth player policy. He joined FC Tokyo with the FIFA rule stating that the Catalans cannot sign him till he turns 18.

Understanding that, Real Madrid have entered the equations and are reportedly luring Kubo to the Bernabeu. The teenager is considered as one of the best Asian talents at the moment with Real Madrid ready to pay a huge signing fee to FC Tokyo. Kubo had joined Barcelona in 2011 and scored 74 goals in 30 matches for the club’s U-11 team and will soon be seen in action leading his country at the U-17 World Cup.
