FIFA U-17 WC Tickets: Poor response in Goa, but Kolkata and Guwahati sold out in phase 1

Internet Desk: On 16 May, Carles Puyol launched the ticket sales for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017. The launch was done at exactly 19:11 hours.  Keeping up with that spirit and with all participating teams known, football fans in India have now the chance to “book their place in history” to watch the first ever FIFA tournament in the sub-continent.

More than 40,000 tickets have been sold in the first phase

More than half of the inventory of tickets put up for sale in the first phase has been sold

Kolkata and Guwahati have exhausted their first phase stock completely, leading the race in ticket sales

Kochi is steadily making ground with more than 60% tickets sold

Only 200 people have bought tickets for Goa, which is less than four times the next venue.
