Kolkata: The all awaited “Diego vs Dada” match on 2nd October suddenly gets a stumble and now is very much in doubts for security reasons, www.xtratime.in can reveal. The match is scheduled to be played on the 2nd October at the Aditya Academy Ground at Barasat, But the Muharram will be on the 1st October and the processions of the Durga Puja is also expected to be happening after that.

There lies the problem. Barasat is known to be a very sensitive place and the security of such a high profile game is also expected to be under the scanner. The ticket sales of that game have pushed it to the further trouble. The organizers are building a temporary gallery of 8,000 seats, but as per the sources, there would be about 20,000 tickets on sale. Thus, the Government is almost determined not to allow the match to happen. The guests might go to different locations, but playing a game might become hazardous for the security perspectives.

Though Satadru Dutta, on behalf of the organizers told www.xtratime.in, “The Government has asked us to cut short the ticket sales, and we will take every step as per the instructions by the West Bengal Government.”
