Suman Chakravorty & Sabyasachi Bagchi, New Delhi: Legendary Indian footballer Shyam Thapa chaired the All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) Technical Committee Meeting at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi today. The committee mainly discussed about the performance of U16 Indian Football team which have qualified Asian Championship in 2018. The committee members looked very happy with the U16 colts performance. The Committee further discussed on the roadmap for the India U-19 National Team to qualify for the AFC U-19 Finals. India is in pretty tough group where they will face the hosts Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and Yemen in the AFC U-19 Qualifiers. The matches will be played earlier in November.
After the meeting AIFF’s Secretary Mr. Kushal Das had an exclusive conversation with www.xtratime.in correspondent Suman Chakravorty. He opened up about all the future endeavors for the betterment of Indian Football.
