Kolkata: Hero Indian Super League franchise FC Pune City continues their process of building a really strong side before the ball starts rolling. The Pune outfit did a fine job in the domestic players draft and now their focus is entirely on strengthening the pool of foreign players.

As www.xtratime.in updated, FC Pune City has been close to signing the superstar of the previous season Marcelinho Leite. They are now in advanced talks with another top foreign performer Hans Mulder who played for Chennaiyin FC last season and Delhi Dynamos in the opening season.

Hans Mulder is a Dutch-Spanish footballer who came through the ranks of Real Zaragoza before joining the RKC Waalwijk under-19 team. He made his professional debut in the 2006-07 season and represented the club till 2011. Mulder’s stint with Willem II was a roller-coaster ride, where he suffered relegation in the first season, and then helped them to return to the top flight next season. The defensive midfielder’s lone season with NEC wasn’t a productive one as he went through the agony of relegation yet again. On the field, he provides the cover and protection for the back-four while also initiating attacks. After two seasons with Delhi Dynamos FC, Mulder joined Chennaiyin FC ahead of Hero ISL 2015. In 2017 Mulder played in Spanish side Club Deportivo Eldense.
