Kolkata: Kingfisher East Bengal scouts two new Indian players for the forthcoming season as the scouting team of Alvito D’Cunha and Sashthi Duley selected two young footballers Mirshad and Joby Justin from the Kerala Premier League, which took place in the last week of May.
Mirshad plays as a goalkeeper and Joby Justin, the 24 years old from Trivandram is highly skillful, fast and can play as a forward, as a right full-back and as a right winger. Though Alvito and Sashthi went to Kerala to see a young midfielder named Biju alias Tuttu from SBI but his “off the ball” skills failed to impress the East Bengal representatives.
The East Bengal camp is highly excited as they firmly believe the duo can add a lot of value to the squad in the next season.
