Kolkata: East Bengal’s practice match against Siliguri XI on Friday is cancelled due to heavy rains and in place of that the Red and Gold officials are trying to arrange a practice match on Friday itself against Mohammedan Sporting at the Howrah stadium.
East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said, “The match is Siliguri is cancelled due to heavy showers in North Bengal. We don’t want to risk on any players as the CFL is knocking at the door. ”
According to sources, one more foreigner Abu has come for trial and he will be joining training from tomorrow. East Bengal coach Trevor Morgan is yet to take the final call on Adelaja as their third foreigner as his performance was not up to the mark against Bonagaon XI.
Trevor Morgan said, “We will be taking a call on the the third foreigner after the last practice tie on Friday. I would not comment anything on Adelaja right now.”
