East Bengal in talks with Ghanaian striker Bright Lukeman

Bright-LukemanKolkata , December 15 : Kingfisher East Bengal are in talks with Ghanaian striker Bright Lukeman .The 22 year old Ebusua Dwarfs player recently became the leading scorer at GN Bank National Division One League . The young skinny center forward scored 27 league goals for his side as they returned to the top flight once again in the league after getting relegated last season . Lukeman have been terrorizing opposing defenders with sheer delight in the Division One League . Club officials have put a rest to all the speculation leading into the fourth foreigner issue . According to club’s defacto supremo Debabrata Sarkar , the club has no plans to take any foreigner playing in the ISL owing to financial crisis . There were reports that East Bengal are targeting foreign footballers Leo Moura of FC Goa , Sameeg Doutie of ATK , Antonio German of Kerala Blasters , Richard Gadze  of Delhi Dynamos to name a few . According to the club officials , they are in talks with Lukeman who they feel will be a good signing . The deal according to club sources will be striked soon . Meanwhile the Red and Gold footballers had a good practice outing with Baranagar Sporting Club as they steam rolled their opponents 5-0 . Ranty Martins , Du Dong Hyun , Nikhilesh Pujari , Jiten Murmu and Prahlad Roy added their names in the scoring sheet . Coach Biswajit Bhattacharya was extremely releived to see Du Dong getting back slowly into form . According to Biswajit ,“It is a good sign as Du Dong is returning back to form . I am happy with his performance as he improving slowly . ” Although he is happy with Du Dong’s form , that cannot be said about his other foreigner Ranty Martins . “ I feel Ranty requires a lot of improvement and still needs a lot to be desired.”
