Kolkata: East Bengal today have announced their 23-member squad for the CFL 2016-17. East Bengal have retained the services of Do-dong-Hyun as one of the foreigner and the other new signing is defender Calum Angus who last played for Dempo SC and Pune FC in the I-league two seasons ago.

The Red and Gold Brigade have also signed Pune FC Academy goalkeeper Avilash Paul who was outstanding for Pune FC in the U-18 I-League and was awarded the Best goalkeeper in the competition.

Apart from these, the Red and Gold brigade have also availed the services of Mohammedan Sporting left back for the upcoming two seasons. Deepak was stupendous in the left back position making some positive moves and overlaps for the Black and White army in the whole edition of the Second division league.

Deepak too was superb for Mohammedan in the last edition of the CFL Premier Division where he caught eyes of lot of former players with intellectual moves and hard defending display. Deepak was also in the CFL best XI last season. Deepak will come to Kolkata on 4th July.

Former East Bengal goalkeeper Abhjit Mondal has been appointed as the goalkeeper coach. East Bengal will commence their training from 4th July at Howrah stadium under coach Trevor James Morgan and assistant coach Richard Dryden.
