Dong was in tears after the match. Teammates brought him to dressing room. He has earlier scored from two free kicks against Mohun Bagan in the Calcutta Football League. Today also he has scored a brace but he was a bit emotional today. Do Dong Hyun said," I have proved today that I can also score apart from free kick. I should have scored the hat-trick. Thanks to coach for believing in me." East Bengal coach Biswajit Bhattcharya congratulated him for scoring a brace in the dressing room. "I have tried Dong in various positions to get the best out of him.He has proved himself today. I have penalized him 50000 rupees for bad conduct. But I have played him on the next match. I am not against him." the Red and Gold gaffer said. Although Mohun Bagan is alleging foul play but East Bengal coach didn't want to pay heed to those  rumours. He congratulated his players after winning the match. East Bengal coach thinks that the penalty given to them was genuine and Glen was in offside position at the time of scoring.
