The Supreme Court sought reply from the BCCI on S Sreeshant’s spot fixing case

Internet Desk: The Supreme Court sought reply from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday over spot fixing scandal in 2013 Indian Premier League(IPL) as former pacer S Sreesanth appealed against his life ban charge given by Kerala High Court division bench.

BCCI was given a four week deadline to reply by the Supreme Court in response of the petition filed by Sreesanth as he challenged Kerala High Court’s order where the fast bowler was asked to stay away from all cricket activity conducted by the BCCI.

The fast bowler alleged role for his role in spot fixing while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2013. Single bench of the Kerala High Court lifted life- ban on the fast bowler but, BCCI moved to the division bench challenging single bench’s verdict. Division bench of the Kerala High Court upheld the life time ban imposed by the BCCI on Sreesanth.
