Kolkata: Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan is considering of releasing their star forward Kamo Stephane Bayi as he hadn’t performed well in last three matches of the Calcutta Football League 2017. On the other hand their arch rival’s head coach Khalid Jamil thinks that Kamo has played quite well in the recently concluded CFL 2017 and he is thinking of signing Kamo if Mohun Bagan releases him in a few days time. According to him the final decision will be taken by the club. Kamo was a member of Aizwal FC which won the I-League last season under Khalid Jamil’s guidance.

Though the East Bengal gaffer wants Kamo in the squad the club officials want to sign a foreign defensive midfielder for the forthcoming I-League. According to them this the position where the team had faced some trouble during the CFL. In this place their choice is Victor Kamukha. Though according to the team management they will retain Carlyle Mitchell for the rest of the season. They will try to help him to gather his self belief just like they did with his countryman Willis Plaza.

On the other hand the players and the officials hoisted the club’s flag today after winning the Calcutta Football League for eighth consecutive time. Their arch-rival Mohun Bagan congratulated them too for achieving this incredible feat.
