Kolkata: Abhimanyu Easwaran led Bengal cricket team has to score 319 more against Gujarat to get a ticket for the final of Dr. K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament. At the end of Day 3, Bengal has reached 71 for 2, with skipper Abhimanyu Easwaran (10*) and Abhishek Mitra (29*) at the crease. The umpires couldn’t complete the full quota of overs today as they had to stop the game an hour after tea.
Though Bengal has some good chances to qualify for the final. If the play won’t happen on day 4 due to the rain as there is a forecast of heavy rain on the final day or Bengal manages to bat till the end of the day’s play the winner of the match will be decided through toss in front of two umpires and match referee.
