Image Source: Xtra Time[/caption] Kolkata: Debjit Ghosh follows the footsteps of head coach Biswajit Bhattacharya. On Saturday, the Red and Gold assistant coach resigned and sent his resignation letter to club officials. But East Bengal official, Debabrata Sarkar had requested Debjit to be with the club for the last match against Shillong Lajong FC on 23rd April. The reason for Debjit’s resignation was the failure of the whole squad with the support staff. He was quoted as saying,” All of the four coaches are equally responsible for the team’s failure and I am also one of them. So I resigned.” On asking the former Indian defender that if the club requests him to come back, is he going to rethink on the decision, he said,” There are no chances of returning as a coach.” It is heard that, as Trevor James Morgan is joining the Red and Gold side soon and will be with the team in the last match, Debjit feels that the Red and Gold brigade does not want his service any more. Meanwhile, question arises will the old support staff during Morgan’s reign as East Bengal coach return in the club tent in the likes of Ranjan Choudhury and Atanu Bhattacharya as goalkeeper coach.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
