Internet Desk: India is currently playing the third and final Test against South Africa at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Though the hosts South Africa has already taken an unassailable 0-2 lead in the series and eyeing for a whitewash, but everyone is talking about the pitch as it has been proved to be a dangerous one for the batsmen.
On this surface, the Men in Blue scored 187 runs while batting first. From the very first day the pitch started behaving mysteriously. South African star batsman Hasim Amla was hit on his ribs on a delivery of Jasprit Bumrah during the final session of second day’s play. On day 3 pitch report it was seen that the cracks were wide open which would allow a lot of movement off the turf. Proving the predictions right Indian opener Murali vijay had taken many blows on his body before getting out last over before lunch. The cricket fraternity criticised the pitch on twitter and termed it an ‘unfair’play.
@vikrantgupta73 @imVkohli @BCCI @ICC ..To play test cricket on this surface is unfair …saw it in NZ in 2003 …batsman have minimum chance ..icc should look into it

Scratch the ‘pitch not as spicy anymore’ bit please.
It’s a minefield of a different kind. If Pune and Nagpur were doctored, this one is too. Without doubt. #SAvIND— Aakash Chopra (@cricketaakash) January 26, 2018
His pitch at Wanderers is getting dangerous… I am quite happy sitting in my room than playing on that pile of crap facing those bowlers! #beentheredonethat #windies

Very naughty pitch but so far India have found a way to survive. Umpires have begun looking at it closely

South Africa kept cribbing about pitches in India and this is what they do. Idiotic. At least players weren’t getting injured here. @ICC ??
