Kolkata:
The contract controversy of Abinas Ruidas is getting more and more complicated as the battle between the club and the player is getting more and more intense. The following are the latest reactions www.xtratime.in has got from his agent, The IFA and The AIFF.

Utpal Ganguly (IFA Secretary): This is a matter we don’t want to disclose to the media. We are trying to sort it out.

Kushal Das (The AIFF Secretary): First of all we need to find out whether his contract is valid or not. If the contract is valid, he has to play for the club, otherwise the matter will be something else. We requested all the clubs and sent them letters to maintain transparency on the players’ contracts. We also requested the clubs to send us the copy of contract with the registration at The AIFF.

Anuj Kichlu (Abinas’ agent): I wanted to see Abinas’ contract paper which the club couldn’t show. As per the contract with the Federation his contract is all but over with the club. So, I’m thinking to put Abinas on the draft.

East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar didn’t receive the phone call, as the reaction from the club was not found. The way things are approaching, the issue regarding Abinas Ruidas has no sign to be sorted soon.
