Xtra Time Web Desk : Denmark's Christian Eriksen has returned to the training field for the first time since that match against Finland at the Euro 2020, where he suffered caridiac arrest on the field of play and received life saving treatment.

The Danish, now 29, was a key member of both his national team and his club, Inter Milan, who however are now open to release him since there's a rule in Serial A which doesn't allow players with cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) device to play in Italy.

But leaving everything behind, Eriksen has begun training at his boyhood club Odense Boldklub where he played before joining Ajax Amsterdam in 2008. And speaking about his return to the training field a club official stated, "Eriksen reached out to us, and he is now training by himself. It's natural for him since he played here in his youth and lives around the corner. We are very happy to be able to provide training facilities for him."

Now, with the return of the Danish wizard to the training field after his rehabilitation, it will be very interesting to see where he ends up to resurrect his career, with his current club Inter Milan keen on releasing him.
