Barasat: A superb strike from former New Barrackpore Rainbow forward Sumit Das helps Mohammedan Sporting in registering a comeback win over new Barrackpore outfit in the CFL 2018 game at Barasat today.

Bengal’s one of the star performers of the 2018 Santosh Trophy scored the all-important goal in the 75mninute of the game, beating Rainbow goalkeeper Dibyendu Sarkar in complete ease.

Both the teams created a number of opportunities throughout the game, but struggled hard to find the back of the net. Rainbow specially came perilously close to score goals, not once, but thrice, but unfortunately, Penn Orji’s brilliant efforts went just wide.

Even after conceding the goal, Rainbow kept on pressing hard on the Mohammedan defence but Raghu Nandi’s men stood firm to protect their lead.
